assosis.

My friend Will's birthday party was yesterday. Drinks were had (not by me unfortunately) and laser tag was played. Drama ensued. Boys were drunk. Blunts were smoked. Women bitched. Counter-Strike names were screamed. Pizza was eaten. All in all, it was a pretty memorable night.

Liq it.

Ugh. I don't really have anything to post about. I drank about ten shots last night and met some new people in the process. I think ten shots is my all time high so far. I was pretty blitzed, but I wasn't out of it or shitfaced or anything like that. Um. Samantha, Steven, Loriena, Maria, David, Will, and Andrew were there. We drank in the backyard. It was funny. It was a nice night. I'm still a little hungover. Let's drink again tonight!

Listening to:
Tegan and Sara - The Con

Mood:

It's seriously been three days since my last post? Wow. Time flies. I finally gave Tegan and Sara a try, and my God, I cannot stop listening to this album. One song is a complete abomination and I can't stand it, but the rest I really like. If anyone who is reading this lives in Northern California, you really need to go to Sky High. We (Samantha, Steven, David) ended up going on a weekend, so many, many children were present, but nothing's more fun than pegging eight year old boys in the face with foam dodgeballs. It was nice to jump around and act like a kid again. I really needed it. I went job hunting with Jim again yesterday, and Zach proof-read and corrected some parts of my resume. I'm hoping I get a job here soon. It'll up my work ethic and the productivity will make me feel a little less lazy. Gregg moved out just a couple hours ago and I couldn't be more thrilled. With Brittany not living at home currently and Dad working, I can finally play bass as loud as I please (or even play bass at all). I'm happy.

Warning: Nerdiness ahead

Guess what I started playing again.

Sweet, right? I've been trying to find the game for over a year, and when I did, I found it fresh out of my washer. Shockingly enough, I could play the game, but couldn't save. If you've ever played a Pokemon game, not having the ability to save makes it practically unplayable. After Zach (friend), found both Silver and Crystal version at his old place (he was in the process of moving out), he rewarded me the lesser of two evils and I got Silver version. Unfortunately, I didn't have a system to play it on. My Gameboy Advance SP was broken by my sister years back, my Gameboy Advance was hidden somewhere in my mouse infested garage, and I was pretty sure my Gameboy Color was thrown out. After having Silver version for a week or two and asking numerous friends if they had an avaliable system for me to borrow, Samantha (another friend) found two Gameboy Colors lying in a white bag she had at the side of her room. She decided to give it to me. The rest is history. Or it will be once I start playing the game more fanatically. I have Rune Factory 2 out on rental, so I'm prioritizing, but trust me, Silver will get played. After playing the GBC for about, oh, three seconds, I realized not only was it not backlit, but even in sunlight, if held in a certain position, you couldn't even see the screen. It's stunning how old that made me feel. I've heard rumors of a remade version of Gold & Silver in the mix, but it turns out the box art was fake, and Nintendo hasn't confirmed anything about a remake. They've remade Red & Blue, so why not continue? It's hard to play an original GBC game when you're used to DS games. Damn you, Game Freak. Damn you, Nintendo!

Other than that, I've been fairly busy lately. It's been more with friends and less with resume finishing and job hunting and homework doing, but anything that gets me out of the house makes me feel stronger of a person. Anyway, Dad just put The Wrestler on, so I'm outie.
