Outback Reding

This week has been so excruciatingly rough in comparison to how relaxed my life usually is. I spent (almost) all day yesterday crying. I couldn't sleep until late last night because of how severe my left over crying headache was. The day before yesterday was prom, and while it was nice to dance, it reminded me of how crippled I am socially. I don't know what I'm going to do when I go to college/get a job. I just hope the pictures turned out alright for how much money I had to pay for them. A couple hours before my prom, I got the ticket from the county. Ironically enough, the one time I didn't buy a ticket for the VTA lightrail, I got caught. Terrible. I asked everyone I knew what would happen, and they said the most I'd have to pay was 60 bucks. That I could pay for by myself. It was 190. That I can't pay for. I don't have a job yet, and I won't get 190 by the time I need to pay the ticket even if I do get a job. I told my father yesterday and if you know me, you know how sensitive I am with him. That's one of the reasons I was crying yesterday. He wasn't pleased at all. I've had more relationship problems this week, especially in the last couple of days. I'm graduating next week as well, and as much as this sounds like good news, it's really not to me. It just means I have to shape up, and God, I don't want to. I love being lazy. I always have, but maybe that'll change. To be honest, I'm just as happy (if not happier) when I'm being productive. It's just easier to be lazy than to be productive, you know? Sorry for how teenager this blog is, but it happens. I am only sixteen. Most of all the stress that's been caused and the few thing that I've explained are mostly my fault either caused by my immaturity, irresponsibility, or laziness. These are all things I need to fix asap.

Let's see. What can I post that's entertaining... Oh. If you didn't notice already, scroll down a little bit and you'll see my list of favorite Pokemans. How nerdy, right? :)

always and forever, Victor Mancini

It's not midnight yet. Ahem. It's been a rough week for my father and I. I'm graduating in seven days, and this means not only coming to terms with my rapidly approaching adulthood, but I have to find a job (more now than ever), and start college. A win-lose situation here --my roommate, Gregg, is moving out and going back to Pennsylvania. He owes my father about 1k in the money he didn't pay in rent when he first moved in and was too good for the lower end jobs. I guess he didn't know what the fuck a recession was, but all my friends and family have agreed it's time for him to go back home. The good is that he's leaving and I don't have to deal with his social inadequacies, sexual propositions, and general bullshit anymore. The bad is that he's leaving and we don't get the extra four hundred a month which has now become essential because, get this, my father is losing his job. He's worked for this company for four plus years now, the company is recession proof, and he's pretty much bent over backwards for this company for no reason other than out of the goodness of his heart. The fact that they're letting him go makes me angry. The fact that he might not get unemployment makes me want to put faces through walls. I have relationshit going down, but again, I don't like talking about it, so here's a picture of a puppy.

move up move on move in

Not the most productive day, but not the least productive either. I got my prom ticket today when I visited Piedmont. Apparently it's a masquerade. It's a masquerade and I wear glasses. I have no optometry insurance at the moment, and won't for a long, long time. I don't want to wear a mask over my glasses. That's just ridiculous. I've also eaten, like, two pounds of food today, and haven't been to the gym in about a week. I'm not too happy with myself.

I'm so ashamed.

I did absolutely nothing today. Honestly, I didn't do a god damn thing. I'm going to get up early and go to the gym tomorrow, then come home, do some classwork, and finish my resume.

Only in a perfect world.

Warning: Nerdiness ahead

Guess what I started playing again.

Sweet, right? I've been trying to find the game for over a year, and when I did, I found it fresh out of my washer. Shockingly enough, I could play the game, but couldn't save. If you've ever played a Pokemon game, not having the ability to save makes it practically unplayable. After Zach (friend), found both Silver and Crystal version at his old place (he was in the process of moving out), he rewarded me the lesser of two evils and I got Silver version. Unfortunately, I didn't have a system to play it on. My Gameboy Advance SP was broken by my sister years back, my Gameboy Advance was hidden somewhere in my mouse infested garage, and I was pretty sure my Gameboy Color was thrown out. After having Silver version for a week or two and asking numerous friends if they had an avaliable system for me to borrow, Samantha (another friend) found two Gameboy Colors lying in a white bag she had at the side of her room. She decided to give it to me. The rest is history. Or it will be once I start playing the game more fanatically. I have Rune Factory 2 out on rental, so I'm prioritizing, but trust me, Silver will get played. After playing the GBC for about, oh, three seconds, I realized not only was it not backlit, but even in sunlight, if held in a certain position, you couldn't even see the screen. It's stunning how old that made me feel. I've heard rumors of a remade version of Gold & Silver in the mix, but it turns out the box art was fake, and Nintendo hasn't confirmed anything about a remake. They've remade Red & Blue, so why not continue? It's hard to play an original GBC game when you're used to DS games. Damn you, Game Freak. Damn you, Nintendo!

Other than that, I've been fairly busy lately. It's been more with friends and less with resume finishing and job hunting and homework doing, but anything that gets me out of the house makes me feel stronger of a person. Anyway, Dad just put The Wrestler on, so I'm outie.
